How do I purchase software licences for the university?

Purchasing Software Licences

Microsoft, Adobe and Macromedia Software

The university has agreements with Civica Services to supply Microsoft and Adobe software so they will have the best prices for any software from these companies. Since Adobe has taken over Macromedia this deal also includes Macromedia software.

To register for Civica's web site go to http://www.licencetoclick.com

General Purpose Software

For other general purpose products you should check Civica’s prices first; anything cheaper will be a good buy.

Specialised Software

For specialised software check the deals negotiated by Eduserve CHEST on behalf of higher education at http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/software/tableindex.html

CHEST also maintains a list of specialist software suppliers at http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/chestdirectory/intro.html .
