From the Editor

Welcome to the second issue of Synergy, the newsletter of Learning Services. This issue concentrates on two themes: the services which Learning Services provides and some research initiatives taking place within Learning Services and co-operating areas.

We are keen to promote our services for the new academic year and hope that this account of some of them will be useful. As usual comments on the issue and suggestions for future contributions are welcome.
